From the legendary coffee lands of Guji, Ethiopia – our most etterspurt origin ever – comes this bright, juicy, and oh-so-funky natural coffee that will make your taste buds do a little dans.

Grown in the lush highlands at 1,950–2,100 meters, Hambela Wamena is a true garden style coffee – small-scale farmers tending their coffee trees alongside bananas, maize, and other crops, then delivering their perfectly ripe cherries to the local wet mill. From there, the magic begins: natural processing under the African sun, ten days of drying on raised beds, and finally a journey to Addis Ababa before it finds its way to our little Norwegian roastery by the coast.

This cup bursts with red orange and tangerine brightness, balanced by a smooth caramel sweetness that lingers like a long Norwegian summer sunset (okay… almost that long). Being from Ethiopia – the very birthplace of coffee – this lot is loaded with heirloom variety complexity.
