Colombia Coocentral is a coffee that is better than we all deserve. Not because we're a bad - we are lovely - but because 3,000 Colombian farmers worked incredibly hard so that we could stand in our kitchen in pyjamas at 7am and have something this good in the cup. The least we can do is appreciate it.
In the cup you get an elegant balance of dried fruits and raisins, lifted by a warm, sweet caramel and a gentle almond finish that lingers just long enough to make you smile at nothing in particular.
🌱 About COOCENTRAL and the region
This coffee comes from the Huila region of Colombia, tucked between the ridges of the Andes in the Magdalena Valley - an area so fertile and beautiful it looks like nature was showing off.
COOCENTRAL is a non-profit cooperative that has been bringing small farmers together since 1975 - long before some of us were born. They represent over 3,128 farmers from municipalities like Garzón, Gigante, Agrado, and Guadalupe, and have grown into one of the country's largest coffee industry hubs, featuring:

The cool mountain conditions at 1,300-1,900 masl give the coffee cherries a slow, unhurried ripening building up bright acidity, natural sweetness, and clean, complex flavour in the cup. The Colombia, Castillo, and Bourbon varieties are washed and processed with the kind of care and precision most of us reserve exclusively for our phones.
Huila has won so many Cup of Excellence awards that other regions have basically given up competing. Rude, but fair.
